Catherine is a Bay Area native who grew up in San Jose, CA. She is an avid traveler and self-proclaimed plant lady. She recently adopted a senior cat named Junior (“Junes”) and their morning weekend routine consists of sitting together in the sunniest spot on the couch drinking coffee, reading a good book and having a snooze. In her free time, Catherine loves to explore the amazing hiking trails in Marin, adventure in the city, cook with friends and get creative doing a variety of crafty projects.
Catherine has always worked with children, whether it was coaching a swim team, volunteering in the NICU or as a behavioral therapist in a public school setting. She discovered occupational therapy when she was a senior at Cal Poly and completed a pediatric OT internship in San Luis Obispo. She fell in love with the profession and continuously worked toward her goal by taking prerequisite classes while she worked in her first career as a preschool teacher. Catherine completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Dominican University.
