Jasmine loves reading, exploring the bay area with her husband and painting. Jasmine grew up in Reno Nevada and has always loved making new things from crayon necklaces to cooking food with her multicultural family of parents, step-parents and godparents. She has lived in Shanghai working as an occupational therapist, learning basic Mandarin while working with children from a variety of backgrounds and doing educational trainings with orphanages.
Jasmine first heard of OT from her godmother – a former Miss America, writer-researcher, exercise physiologist and her role model. Jasmine attended Touro University, Nevada. This field continues to give Jasmine strategies to be her full self, something for which she’s deeply grateful. These days, she is thrilled to be able to bring what she has learned to families, while remaining open to learning even more with every child she encounters.
