Deborah loves to spend her time running, surfing, snow-boarding, and being on the beach. She adores her two children, Noah and Sofie, and her Staffordshire Terrier, Mocha. Deborah grew up in Durban, South Africa where she loved spending time playing in the waves and on the beach of the Indian Ocean. She has traveled extensively and zip-lining in Costa Rica is a highlight for her. Deborah moved to the United States in 1994 and lived in Atlanta and San Francisco. She now lives with her kids and dog in San Rafael.
When Deborah was 12 years old and observing her younger brother’s fun-filled OT sessions, when she realized that occupational therapy was what she wanted to do when she grew up. It turns out that his OT was one of the pioneers of Sensory Integration therapy so it is no wonder why she was inspired. Deborah attended school in Johannesburg, South Africa.
