Stephanie is happiest when she is running, doing yoga, dancing, or at live music shows. Stephanie loves to travel and has been fortunate to experience many adventures. She’s backpacked on her own throughout western Europe, camped in Morocco, and seen the Northern Lights in Iceland. She recently checked off the number one item on her bucket list: to watch the sunset in Santorini alongside her mother. Stephanie was born and raised in Miami, Florida, but spent her childhood summers in Lima, Peru. She lives in San Francisco with her sidekick, a 10 year old Shih Tzu named Penelope.
Stephanie was first introduced to Occupational Therapy as a child when her younger brother received Speech Therapy. To occupy her time during his therapy sessions, Stephanie observed the OTs and wondered how grown-ups could make a career out of “playing with kids”. Stephanie attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She is passionate about pediatrics and believes becoming an Occupational Therapist was the best decision she made in her twenties.
